In the face of adversity humanity always shines through.
In this episode, I speak to Stick Daring about his 17’000km adventure to Australia, and how everything (and more) imploded from when he got there.
Stick Daring is an adventurer, who is famous for sailing anti-clockwise around the UK, in a Laser dinghy.
Putting up a courageous effort on this Podcast we hear one mans story about how COVID 19 and other of life’s challenges have thrown a spanner in the works.
At the end of all of this is there another amazing expedition to be had? We shall find out. In the meantime we go back to 1792 and shed some historic light on exploring, we then check out Geelong in Australia, find out what a bunch of old guys is like at sailing, and ponder over why people even take up this sport in the UK to be drenched and frozen every time they go out. Stick’s message is sobering, sad, and inspiring all in one.
